Another great style source!

Since I can't sleep right now, just thought I would add on a post about another website I found while searching on Google. Missphit was created by a husband/wife designer team who saw the need for trendy plus-sized clothing to be readily available to the market. I'm so glad they did, because there are things I want to buy off of the website already! Below are pictures of a few of my favorite things off the site. It seems as if they make shirts, dresses, and coats (at least, that's all I see!)Leggings would work for this tunic top. It also comes in pink and white, which is a huge bonus for me.This dress also comes in two additional colors. It's girly, ruffly, and really my style!
This tunic made my skinny friends jealous. They were so crushed when they realized that this didn't come in their size.

I have ALWAYS been a hoodie girl, so I zoomed in on this shirt almost immediately! It's not a bummy hoodie, it's really nice and probably could be used as a dress shirt for work! The versatility is what makes it so attractive.

So visit the website, http://www.missphit.com. What do you have to lose? Besides your money, of course!

Check out this company!

I just recently rediscovered a catalog I used to peruse when I was in middle and high school. Alloy has a lot of nice clothing at an inexpensive price. Some of the trends should be avoided at all costs if you are over the age of 20, but there is also some really nice clothing in here at a decent that shouldn't be ignored if you are looking for a deal. A lot of their clothing is available up to a junior size 25 or 3xl. Not everything is available in plus sizes, but there are enough options within the catalog for you to consider checking it out. For example....

I am a big fan of Transformers, as I watched the show often when I was growing up. So this multi-colored tee caught my eye immediately. Not too juvenile, but just my style. This ruffled dress is also a welcome surprise within the catalog, and more affordable than Lane Bryant. Wore alone or paired with some leggings, this would make a great work ensemble.

Burning out!

So now to talk about a new trend emerging in spring fashion.... the burnout tee. Basically, the fabric is thinner in some places than others.... enough to have a sense of what your skin color or bra color is underneath your shirt. These are very comfy tees, and a great item to add to your spring/summer wardrobe, as they usually are a lightweight fabric.
Combine three trends at once with the purple zebra print burnout tee from Torrid. After all, purple is the color of royalty, and you are a princess! Animal prints are so in right now, and so is the color purple (even if it is a fall color, but I won't fault them for that.)
Or maybe you like your burnout tee a little more refined and classy. This zebra print burnout tee from Ashley Stewart is more your style. Pair it with a black tank and some black pants to show the world your stripes come in all varieties.Maybe you don't even like animal print shirts. In which case, try this striped burnout tee from Old Navy on for size. I may be a little prejudiced... I bought this shirt 2 months ago. It's comfy and bright, which makes for a nice spring shirt to add to your closet.
